Mr. Carter brought his foreign food laws expertise to Mannatech in 2000, and has since helped the company realize its international expansion objectives. He has played an integral role in opening Mannatech’s markets in Japan, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, Germany, Denmark, South Africa and Singapore. Prior to joining Mannatech, he spent six years as the Laboratory Manager for the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Export Service Center, advising many of the top U.S. food manufacturers about product exportation issues, including formulation and labeling, foreign government testing, customs clearance and other regulations. Mr. Carter worked closely with foreign government officials to implement the Export Center programs and frequently hosted them at the Oregon laboratory. Earlier in his career with the Department, he spent four years as a chemist specializing in the testing of food and agricultural products. Mr. Carter earned a BS in Science Education from Oregon State University and a BS in Chemistry from Portland State University.
